Here are some additional works that are not currently part of the Clairnote Sheet Music Library. Most of them have been contributed by Clairnote users – many thanks for their efforts! Most of these are traditional tunes or songs. To the best of our knowledge they are in the public domain, unless otherwise noted.

180 Fiddle Tunes in Clairnote Music Notation
PDF File | LilyPond Files (Zip File)
This is the Your Friends and Neighbors Tune Collection converted into Clairnote music notation, thanks to LilyPond. Most of the tunes are traditional, and some are contemporary. The LilyPond files are more complex than usual given the nature and size of this collection (85 pages!). The tunes are ordered alphabetically by title. (For historical reasons the “YFN” collection has two parts, the original 48 pages and a supplement with additional tunes. Each part has its own page numbering system. Here is a Clairnote version (PDF) arranged in the original “YFN” order with the original page numbers.)
Muzio Clementi’s Introduction to the Art of the Piano Forte in Clairnote Music Notation
PDF File (Letter) | PDF File (A4) | LilyPond Files (Zip File)
A piano lesson book that was written in 1801, converted to Clairnote music notation with LilyPond. Music pedagogy has changed a lot in over 200 years, so the approach is a bit dated and the learning curve quite steep. But with that caveat, the music is quite high quality and there is a lot of it. (The PDF files are over 100 pages long.) The source for this Clairnote version is the traditional notation version from the Mutopia Project. Note that this is a work in progress. In some places there may be collisions or problems in the rendering or page breaking that should be improved. These are largely due to the automatic conversion and a lack of time for manual corrections.
